Who we are

It all started back in 1997 with a packed car, a flask of hot tea, enough snacks to feed a small army… and one very important passenger: the travelling piglet. 🐷✨

This little piglet wasn’t just a toy – it was my sidekick, my pillow, and my travel buddy. It came along on family holidays, solo adventures, and even tagged along when I moved countries. Today, the piglet has retired from the road and sits proudly on my shelf – but the adventures definitely continue!

Ever since my parents took me on my very first trip, I’ve been hooked on exploring the world. Travel quickly became more than just a hobby – it’s a must!

If it’s on the map, I want to see it, hear it and feel it. ✈️🌍

So far, I’ve explored 40 countries – which sounds like a lot, right? But it’s only 17% of the world… so really, I’ve barely scratched the surface.

Each year, I set myself a little challenge: at least one new country, preferably more! For me, travelling isn’t just about ticking boxes – it’s about discovering hidden gems, chasing new experiences, and sharing those moments that take your breath away.

This blog is my way of bringing you along for the ride. I’ll share the routes I’ve taken, the tips I’ve learned, and the unforgettable memories from each adventure.
